Join or Renew your PTSA Membership!

Have you joined Fall City Elementary's PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association)?

Memberships start at only $13 and there is NO OBLIGATION to volunteer.

We have great programs that FCES PTSA funds such as:

  • Teacher classroom grants
  • Technology grants -  we bought computers and we funded a STEM program called Project Lead the Way that begins fall 2015!
  • Reading Hall of Fame

Also by joining PTSA we show Olympia that the parents at our school care about learning and want to be involved in our kid’s education and then they take us more seriously when they allocate certain funds!

Please help raise our membership!

A Family membership gives your family two votes. An Individual or Staff membership gives you one. Be a voice for the students at FCES, join or renew and help us achieve 100% membership!

2017-2018 PTSA Membership Fees:

Two for Twenty (2 adults): $20
Individual Membership (1 adult): $13

 What does the PTSA do?

When your child comes home excited about participating in the Walk-A-Thon, attending an assembly, enjoying a special Art day, reading with a volunteer or hired tutor, or inviting the whole family to Book Fair/Family Dinner/Science Fair Night — just to name a few — you have made a difference in your child's life through your commitment to FCES PTSA.

We also work hard to keep all FCES parents informed of issues and events that impact our students. We do this through our web site, email, General Membership meetings, and the Friday Folder.

Why should I join the PTSA?

1. The number one reason to join the PTSA is to benefit your child!

Get to know what is happening in your school.  Study after study has shown that parent involvement is key to student success in education. The PTSA is a great avenue for parents, working with the teachers and staff, to impact the success of Fall City Elementary School and demonstrate to your child the importance you place on education!

2. Get involved and be a part of the solution!

By getting involved at your child’s school you’ll be part of the solution, helping make positive changes. Local PTAs play a very important role in fundraising to provide school improvements, curriculum enhancement programs, and family social events and activities.

3. A voice and vote at PTSA meetings.

Our membership determines how PTSA can best advocate for our students and enhance their educational experience at and beyond FCES.  The PTA mission is to remind our country of its obligations to children and provide parents and families with a powerful voice to speak on behalf of every child. Your membership is that powerful voice and it's heard at the local, state and national level.

4. Become a member of Washington State PTA and National PTA.

When you join FCES PTSA, you automatically become a member of Washington State PTA and National PTA. National PTA is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1897 to enhance the education, health, safety, and welfare of all children. With over 6 million members, it's the largest child advocacy volunteer organization in the U.S.A

5. Benefits from state and national PTAs.

Individuals and local units can take advantage of a host of benefits from PTA membership including discounts and offers from member benefits providers and sponsors, magazine subscriptions, leadership training, e-newsletters and much more. For a current list of the membership benefit providers, CLICK HERE. Sometimes additional benefits will come through the WSPTA's monthly online newsletter, so keep any eye for more great deals!

6. Fall City Elementary Online School Student Directory.

The online directory connects your family with every teacher, staff member, and child/parent who provides PTSA with contact information. This invaluable directory is available only to authorized users of the PTSA website and gives you the ability to search by student name or teacher. It is a great way to organize birthday parties or set up playdates for your kids!
