Reading Hall of Fame is Back!

The Reading Hall of Fame program is back!

All students will receive a book to kick off the program in their December supply pick up bags! Following this pick up, all students who participate in the program will receive a book in the following supply pick ups.

REFLECTIONS PROGRAM

REFLECTIONS IS A NATIONAL PTA ARTS PROGRAM THAT HELPS STUDENTS EXPLORE THEIR OWN

THOUGHTS, FEELINGS AND IDEAS, DEVELOP ARTISTIC LITERACY, INCREASE CONFIDENCE, ANDFIND A LOVE FOR LEARNING.

COOKIE DOUGH AND HOME GOODS FUNDRAISER

Fall City Elementary School PTSA has partnered with Great Western Reserve for our cookie dough and home goods fundraiser.

All sales will be done online, with options to ship to home or ship to school depending on the items you are purchasing.

Once registered, you will receive an email and/or text with a seller ID (participant ID) that you can forward to friends and family letting them know about this great online fundraising event.  

You have two options to buy:
Ship To School: Cookie dough, Auntie Annie’s pretzels and magazines. These will ship for free and picked up at FCES during early December.

Ship To Home: Food purchases can not be shipped to home. This option has many more home décor items and shipping costs on orders over $75 will be refunded after the sale.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
School may feel a little different this year, but the annual book fair will not be stopped! Instead of the limited selection of books usually available in the library, you will now be able to shop ALL books Scholastic offers!

Online shopping runs from October 12th to October 25th and all orders will be shipped directly to your home. All sales help generate Scholastic Bucks for Fall City Elementary School.  Plus, if you spend $25 or more, shipping is FREE!

To use see first from your News Feed preferences:
  1. Click  in the top right of Facebook.
  2. Select Settings & Privacy > News Feed Preferences.
  3. Click See First.
  4. Select a person or Page to see first by clicking  next to their name.
To use see first from a profile or Page:
  1. If you’re not already following the Page, click Follow near their cover photo. If you don’t see Follow, click  > Follow.
  2. To select a profile to see first, click  then select See First.
  3. To select a Page to see first, click  then select Follow Settings. Click See First, then click Update.
Note: You can select up to 30 people or Pages to see first. Your selections aren’t ranked (example: your first selection isn’t seen first, your second selection isn’t seen second).
See first is different from close friends. When you select a person or Page to see first, you won’t receive notifications for their posts. When you select a person as a close friend, you can choose to receive notifications for their posts.

Back to School news

While the start of this school year might look a lot different than we are used to, it’s still an exciting time for all of the kids going back to school. Whether you are new to the school or a returning family, welcome!

Here you will find details and links to things you’ll want to know before the first day:

Teacher Assignments: Log into Family Access after 8 a.m. Friday August 28th to see which teacher your student(s) will have this year

First Week and Meet The Teacher: The first day of synchronous instruction will be Friday, September 4, Device and material pick up will be Tuesday, September 1 and Virtual Meet the Teacher for Grades K-5 will take place August 31 – September 3 and can be scheduled through Family Access after 8 a.m. Friday August 28.

Does your student need a device? Fill out the Google Form no later than 3pm Monday August 31.
